I have been stalled on my Silver Belle for a week and a half now, hoping that more people were going to respond to my query re blocking - thanks Lauren for being the only one to respond. And it doesn't look like anyone has responded to TK's query re the peplum (unless they did it privately).
Is the activity level on the KAL too low for us to get help? Have the majority finished their Silver Belle and now no longer visit?
I'm still trying to decide whether to start over again after 80 rows on my sleeve, or whether to persevere with my blocked/stretched first start.

I hear you. I don't know how many people who've finished their sweaters are still reading and can give more seasoned advice.
If it were me, I wouldn't start over because the sleeves look really big to me in the picture. I'm more concerned with the width at the armpit and bust than I am with the cuff. Like I said, my sleeve could be blocked out to match the schematic but I honestly don't know if I'll block it that severely. Eleven inches sounds really loose, doesn't it?
I've been thinking exactly the same - I got no comments! Unfortunately I'm not far enough along to help anyone else yet either!
Hi Sharon:
80 rows is a lot of work. I don't know if I would rip it out and start over though. I have just found a mistake row on my seeded st. but it's way at the bottom and it's killing looking at it. I am at row 113 and I catch myself tempting to fix that mistake (though my husband & son said they don't even notice it...but they're not knitters. Mine measures 9 or 9.5 at the cuffs, I might block it a little, but probably not to 11 inches, that's stretching the work too much I think. Let me know what you decide to do
I'm not sure how many are still reading who have finished either, and I'm not far enough along to help! It might be worth asking through Ravelry, or emailing one of the KAL contributors privately to ask.
hey sharon.
i haven't checked in for a while. and really. i feel terrible about that!! if you are still trying to make decisions, i would be happy to help! please let me know.
Just checking back in - with the warmer weather I have put the Belle aside and am knitting on a linen cardi for the summer. Will get back to it in the autumn and then decide whether I am going to start over again or not. It's encouraging to see the pics of finished Belles showing up, I still love this sweater.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at RatherKnit on Ravelry. I just finished my SilverBelle. I wrote out the pattern in a Word document so that I can cross off each row and know where I am on the pattern.
