Slow Start on Silver Belle

My Silver Belle was started on November 1st, and I have only completed 4 inches at this time. I have set a goal to knit at least 8" this week, now that should get me on track and moving on this project (I do plan to add 2" to the peplum).

My cables are looking a bit open to me so I think I may need to tighten up on my stitches. It was love at first site when I was Silver Belle and would be such a disappointment to complete it and not be madly in love with it.

Great progress!!
I love how you are setting personal goals with your SB.

And I believe you will be madly in love with her!

She is beautiful. I love your color. Do you find it difficult? I want to do it, but am worried that it is beyond me.

I know exactly what you mean. I loved this when I saw it, but it is a concentration needed knit! I definitely could not talk and knit this at the same time! I have put mine down for a while, but I may have to follow your lead with setting targets, or it won't be finished before the end of winter!

Good luck with yours!

I have not found this to be terribly difficult, but I do have to use a reasonable amount of concentation. Of course, I use my own count sheets and graphs. Sure wish I was brave enough to try knitting cables without a cable needle...I hear the knitting is so much faster.
